Life can feel overwhelming, especially when you've been carrying too much for too long, without adequate support or sufficient tools. Whether you're feeling stuck, navigating a difficult transition, exploring your identity, managing a mood or anxiety disorder, dealing with addictive behaviors, carrying unhealed trauma, dealing with difficult relationships, or simply longing to feel more like yourself, therapy can be a place to reconnect with your strengths, your values and move toward lasting change.
With more than 25 years of experience as a clinical social worker in school and outpatient mental health settings, I provide a compassionate, collaborative space where you can feel truly seen and supported. My approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and empathy. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen your connection to your values, and help you build a life that feels more aligned, fulfilling, and authentic.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent individuals, as well as those exploring whether they may be neurodivergent. I also support clients who are interested in healing their relationship with food and their bodies drawing on the principles of the Health at Every Size® (HAES®) framework and Intuitive Eating principles.
Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, and genuine. I bring compassion, curiosity, and a sense of humor to our work together because I believe healing happens in relationships where you feel safe enough to be yourself. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can find your voice, discover new possibilities, and create a life that's not just about reducing symptoms and getting through each day—but one where you can truly feel connected to your values and experience purpose and joy again, or possibly even for the first time.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, walking outside, playing guitar, and spending time with my cats and family.
We'll work with you every step of the way. We focus on the whole person, rather than on specific issues and see self-discovery as an active multi-sensory process. Ready to begin? Request an appointment, and we'll match you with a therapist.
