Sara is a licensed independent marriage and family therapist, specializing in working with children and their caregivers, as well as adults experiencing a wide range of mental health symptoms, behavioral struggles, parenting difficulties and perinatal mental health concerns. Her primary clinical focus is grounded in attachment, relationships and development; integrating an understanding of the past in order to heal the present. Sara provides a safe and judgement free environment to think and explore people's thoughts and behaviors.
Sara is trained to diagnose and treat young children using the DC: 0-5 diagnostic assessment and is trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy, Circle of Security Parenting and Experiential Play therapy. She is endorsed as an infant and early childhood mental health specialist (IMH-E) and is certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C).
Sara provides clinical supervision to clinicians seeking independent licensure in Minnesota and is a reflective consultant for various community agencies. In her free time Sara enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outside and reading.
