She/Her

Lauren Riegert, MSW, LICSW

Therapist

Life can be both beautiful and brutal. I strive to create a therapeutic space that helps you appreciate the beauty while building resilience for the brutal. With nearly 10 years of experience in mental health and social work, I’ve come to understand healing as both deeply personal and relational. Together, we’ll stay curious about how systems, culture, relationships, and identity shape your story and your experience of the world.

I enjoy working with folks who want to heal their relationship with food and their body, those looking to make sense of their trauma, and anyone who wants life to feel a little smoother. My training includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Anchored Relational Therapy for C-PTSD, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). I have experience supporting people navigating eating disorders, PTSD/C-PTSD, anxiety, depression, and personality disorders.

As a queer and polyamorous person myself, I also enjoy working with folks navigating their queer identities, relationships, and the ways they want to build a life that feels authentic to them.

Whether you’re brand new to therapy or returning after some time away, my hope is that our work together helps you feel more grounded, connected, and at home in your life.

Outside of the Office

When she's not doing therapy, Lauren spends her time painting, swimming, and practicing her Spanish! Don't be surprised if you see her out in the world reading at a coffee shop, buying toys for her cat, or laughing with her people on any given day.
