She/Her

Jeanna Stumpf, BA

Practicum Therapist

As a Master of Social Work graduate student intern, Jeanna arrives at Becoming Together with many years of experience working with people from diverse walks of life and backgrounds. She is passionate about equitable, inclusive, and culturally responsive mental healthcare and wellness, and believes strongly in the ways in which our formative and familial/cultural experiences and attachments continue to shape and create the way we navigate the world and connect as human beings. Jeanna has a robust professional interest in the multitudinous and prismatic nature of identity and perspective—and how our life environments can sometimes carry complexity, nuance, and depth that may be ineffable in their extensions. She demonstrates with clients that it is through open-minded curiosity and active attention that therapeutic exploration may begin, as well as evolve, and she is honored to be invited to share in such vital work. Educated within and working from an empathetic and clinical trauma-informed point of view, she prefers to partner with her clients in the journey of self-discovery, healing, reflection, collaboration, and inquiry. Guided by a strengths-based social work approach, your personal knowledge and history are recognized to be unique fingerprints of communication and understanding.

Outside of the Office

Jeanna feels a deep intuition and connection to nature and animals, and enjoys spending time with each, as much as possible. As an enthusiastic lover of lyrical poetry/essay and lifelong learning, you may find her absorbed in contemplation at any given time. She is overjoyed to be interning at Becoming Together and looks forward to what the future may hold!
