She/Her

Robin Melville, MA, LPCC, RYT-200

Therapist, Yoga Instructor

Robin brings a grounded, human-to-human approach to therapy that drops the clinical distance. Rather than acting as an "expert" looking down from a clipboard, the work is collaborative, practical, and heavily rooted in the present moment.

With a background that includes the corporate world before transitioning to mental health, Robin understands firsthand the grinding weight of modern career stress. Her practice integrates traditional talk therapy with somatic and body-based approaches—such as mindfulness,  breathwork, and therapeutic yoga—offering tangible ways to step out of overthinking and into feeling what your body is holding. Drawing from Eastern philosophies (Buddhism, Taoism, Yoga), sessions are designed to gently shift perspectives, untangle old patterns, and make room for humor and lightness alongside the heavier work.

In addition to a Master's in Counseling, Robin's training includes a certificate in Yoga Teacher training (RYT-200), and a post baccalaureate certificate in Integrative Therapies and Healing Practices from the University of Minnesota. Her education, background, and lived experience expands her therapeutic offerings beyond traditional talk to include creative expressions like art, mindful writing, nature immersion (including walk-and-talk therapy) and therapeutic yoga. When talk therapy isn't quite enough, Robin can integrate alternative healing practices for a holistic approach to mental wellness.

Robin works with individuals from adolescence through midlife, navigating ADHD and neurodivergent experiences, trauma recovery, attachment-based issues, relationship dynamics, life transitions, anxiety and depression, grief, and the everyday exhaustion of modern life. If you are looking for a trauma-informed space that is real, collaborative, and free of rigid formulas, reach out to connect.

Outside of the Office

You’ll find Robin visiting new restaurants, exploring coastal destinations, and soaking in the beauty of nature. She loves snapping scenic pictures, birdwatching, and partaking in celebrations of any kind. Robin is an animal lover and will gladly stop whatever she's doing to pet a dog. She seeks to live a life filled with creativity, possibility, and imagination, which is clear when you step into her office! Robin embraces every opportunity for pursuing life passions, creating joy, and sparking a sense of wonder.
